Project Overview
Turnkey industrial civil construction and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) enclosure for the Drum Drive Pulley manufacturing facility for Voith Turbo, a global German engineering leader. Executed in the Cherlapally/Mallapur industrial belt under rigorous industrial safety guidelines and exacting structural tolerances.
Scope of Civil Works
- Subgrade excavation, boulder packing, and stone soling for heavy-load equipment foundations.
- Casting reinforced cement concrete (RCC) footings and machinery pedestals with high-precision anchor bolts.
- Fabrication and structural erection of heavy PEB steel columns, rafters, purlins, and crane runway beams.
- Solid concrete block masonry construction with external weather-proof cement plastering.
- Installation of industrial blue profiled sheet cladding, roofing, continuous louvers, and aluminium-glazed windows.
- Site integration with outdoor yard gantry crane infrastructure, transit pathways, and stormwater drainage conduits.
Technical Challenges Faced
Accommodating heavy dynamic loads for drum drive manufacturing machinery and overhead gantry cranes within an active industrial plant. Adhering to strict German MNC technical tolerances, vibration isolation requirements, and zero-accident safety protocols.
Engineering Solutions Deployed
Engineered high-bearing stone soling and isolated concrete column footings anchored with high-tensile anchor bolts. Pre-fabricated and ultrasonic-tested structural steel components offsite, followed by precision on-site crane erection and phased civil masonry to ensure zero disruption to adjoining plant operations.
